Our aim is to provide an amazing experience for children from the urban areas in and around Manchester to access the countryside and outdoors for a week long independent holiday during the long summer holidays. The camp is full of activities, excitement and freedom; we understand how important it is for children to have some independent time to play, laugh and have fun.

 

During the main part of the days on camp, we provide adventurous and fun activities to really engage and motivate the campers. Experiences that children will love and will be talking about for weeks. As well as the adventurous activities, there is lots of time to fill and your children will not be still until teatime with a great mixture of sports, games, crafts, hunts, exploring, building and much much more.

 

The time spent at the farm will provide great opportunity for the campers to explore; learn new skills and get a really good feel for the outdoors environment in the way that the Steiner, Montessori and Reggio approaches to development all recommend in their own way: fundamentally, that children engage better when they are given the freedom to experience life through their own means and following their own desires and interests. The activities, resources and experiences we provide promote many forms of expression and exploration.

 

We operate firstly as a holiday camp. Our activities are aimed centrally at having fun! But given a week with the Snowdonian countryside at their fingertips, children will be able a develop a deeper understanding of the outdoors, nature and what it has to offer them.
