Adventure Camp
These camps include extra activities which add to the cost of camp such as high ropes and climbing and horse riding. The campers who choose this kind of camp find it hard to sit still and can expect much more in the way of an active and sporty camp.
Camp Programmes
A little flexibility
Camp is 2 and a half hours drive from Manchester. There are many options available however only one option offered by Made for the Outdoors. A two way trip by car or minibus will add an extra cost
Transport to camp
There are 3 day or 5 day camps to choose from. On top of this there is adventure camps or farm and forest skills camp to choose. Adventure camps offer a little in the way a farm and forest skills and the skills camp offers some adventure. A rough idea of the content of each camp can be seen below. First-time campers may feel more comfortable choosing the 3 day camp.
Farm and forest skills fun camp
These camps are much more flexible in nature, they can be adapted to the needs of the campers attending and are based on the forest school ethos. The campers who choose this kind of camp enjoy nature, playing in the forest, building dens, lighting fires and a bit of wood toolwork and farm and forest adventure too.
