Safety

We always put safety first in everything we do at camp. We know that excited children will love to jump into any adventure headfirst and so we put stringent rules in place to ensure that everyone in camp is kept safe and secure.

The adventurous activies are all led by experienced and qualified professionals who adhere strictly to safety guidelines which are put in place by the respective national governing bodies.

Is this for my son/daughter?

A very appropriate question!

The outdoors is a naturally exciting and important place for all children to develop greater independence as well as many other skills and attributes.

We strive to give the campers a range of experiences in nature, camping, fitness, adventure and just plain fun!

Our camps are kept small so that children can be given the full attention of their camp leader. Read about our staff. Campers will be treated individually and taught how to manage their belongings, hygeine and more often than not... emotions; making the camp a well worth-while learning venture for any young person.

Homesickness

This is a worry for many parents and children who have not stayed away from their parents before. Our staff are all experienced in dealing with feelings of missing home and parents. We highly recommend no phonecalls home during camp. We will keep you updated on our facebook page with photos and comments and we encourage the children to write postcards home.

The solution lies in our full and varied programme of activities which keep the mind and body active. We have taken into consideration how tired children get with non-stop action and this camp builds in less strenuous activities which engages without causing stress and tiredness.
